About Fidget
Introducing Fidget! Fidget is some form of Terrier x born on 16th October 2022.
Sweet Fidget was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray who was covered in long, matted hair & was very scared and shut down. We have since clipped & bathed her & she has turned into the most excited and wiggly girl.
Unfortunately Fidget didn't test well with larger and excitable dogs as she was very scared of them, however she may feel more comfortable with a small, calm dog. If you have a small, friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them before going home to ensure they get along.
Fidget was unfazed by pocket pets. We recommend a slow & controlled introduction to any existing animals at home to ensure a safe & happy relationship.
Fidget was terrified of cats & could not back far enough away from them during testing. We feel that she may be too scared to live with cats.
Fidget has shown no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression while at the facility.
While Fidget is a small girl she is still young & very high energy.
Fidget's adoption fee is $800 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Fidget is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Fidget, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Fidget is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
