Hey everyone, my name is Una!
I am a sweet, happy dog with a loving personality. I was rescued from death row in rural NSW after I was dumped in the pound drop box. Since arriving into care, I have begun to thrive and have not looked back.
I love being by your side no matter what you are doing but I am also used to foster carers who work long shifts and happily occupy my time. I spend my days outside enjoying my own company - there's no need for another dog when you are your own best friend. Although I am content on my own, my heart really melts when I am inside with my favourite human.
I am learning what the lead is, it doesn't seem like a was walked much before coming into care and while I am making progress this is something my adopter will need to work on with me.
I travel well in the car, and love sticking my head out the window to feel the wind in my fur and the breeze on my tongue. I have only had a few interactions with other dogs since being in care but seem to prefer being around submissive dogs as I can be a bit dominant sometimes. However, with training I'm sure I could overcome this. I would also be content being someone's whole world and not needing to share their love with another dog. I am a loyal girl and as long as you love me, I will love you.

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:
- Real estate approval
- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. If you follow through with adoption after your meet, the $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must notify OTC, and present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic we direct you to in your area. OTC will cover any treatment needed at our authorised clinics.

NEED FLIGHTS?
1. Contact us for a quote via email or facebook, providing the following info.
- Your name
- The animal you are interested in
- How soon you would be able to adopt (as naturally their weight will increase with time)
- Which airport you would collect from
2. Once all of the above information is provided, we will gain a quote from JetPets, using our charity discount. Flights are generally from Brisbane or Toowoomba, QLD.
3. Once you receive your quote, if you'd like to proceed please put in your adoption application ASAP to make sure you don't miss out!
