About Debbee
Meet Debbee!
This beautiful 2 year old is a kitten at heart! Poor Debbee had an appalling start to life. She was dumped with her 4 kittens, all crammed into a tiny carrier and left outside a childcare centre. They were in a terrible state, but with love, care and time, they have come out on the other side as healthy, loving kitties.
Debbee has a gorgeous white and tabby coat with love heart spots on her back and eyes that will melt your heart.
Debbee loves bird noises on the TV, being brushed with a cat comb and zoomies at night time. She is not a fan of changing up her food, or loud noises. Her favourite places to hang out are big cardboard boxes, windows to watch the birds go past and being as close to you as possible.
She is fine with guests and gentle kids, but hasn't been tested around other pets. Since being fostered she has come out of her shell and become very affectionate with her humans.
Debbee would do best in an environment with no other pets, ideally somewhere with big windows for her to look out of during the day.
Debbee is ready to join your family! If you'd like to adopt Debbee please fill out the adoption enquiry form linked below.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption will be rehomed desexed, first vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
