About Rusty
Rusty is a stunning kitten with a unique coat that features mesmerizing pattern of cheetah spots! His green eyes are captivating and sparkle as he gently kisses his humans.
His shy and reserved nature adds to his mystique, but once youâve won him over he is epitome of a pure machine!
Rusty is initially a shy and introverted kitten who prefers to observe from a distance rather than being the center of attention. He may initially retreat to his safe spot when approached, but with patience and gentle handling, he will learn to trust and form deep bonds with his chosen people. Rusty sleeps in his humans bed, snuggled into the covers. He loves cuddles, pats and smooches.
Rusty loves to play and enjoys batting at feather toys and chasing balls around the house. He adored his foster siblings and would love to be adopted into a home with a feline friend so they could romp and roll to their heartsâ content!
Rusty would do well in a home without young children and with someone who is home a lot of the time to help bring him out of his shell. Plenty of treats, love and time will be required.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
