About Bean
Meet Bean!
Bean is a 6 month old rescue kitten with a beautiful, warm temperament. She has striking facial features and unique markings that make her stand out from the crowd. Bean loves to play fetch and zoomies, and she spends most of her time snuggling on her human's bed or sunbathing on the window perch. She also enjoys sitting in the sink, hanging out with her foster brother Felix and playing with her toys.
Bean loves getting lots of attention! She has only met teenagers and adults so far but would likely be ok with young kids too given time and patience. Bean has also met dogs and is fine with them.
Since being rescued, Bean has become more comfortable, loyal, confident, cuddly, trustworthy and amusing - she truly is an amazing kitten!
The ideal home for Bean would be one where she gets plenty of love and attention. Bean would also love a home with plenty of windows for sunbathing and room to roam around in.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
