About Oscar
Oscar is a friendly and loving 12-year-old male Kelpie. Despite his age, he possesses a youthful appearance and often gets mistaken for a puppy. Oscar's placid and friendly nature makes him a joy to be around. He is always ready to shower people with paw greetings and cuddles!
Oscar's friendly disposition and love for human interaction make him a delightful addition to any home. He adores people and enjoys spending quality time with them. Whether it's going for walks, a swim at the beach, or sharing a meal at a café, Oscar is well-behaved and sits calmly or when at the beach will come when called.
Until recently, Oscar spent most of his life on a farm, so some of the city noises and sights can be a bit intimidating for him and he really isn't sure about the noises at traffic lights! He also didn't have very much training on lead before coming into care and will need a home committed to continue on with training.
Oscar would thrive in a family household or an adult-only home where he can receive plenty of love and attention. He requires daily walks and exercise to keep him healthy and happy, but he also enjoys his downtime and napping during the day. A home with a secure yard or garden where he can explore and play would be ideal.
If you're seeking a loyal, friendly, and loving companion, Oscar is the perfect match. His youthful appearance, placid nature, and eagerness to please make him a lovely companion.
