About Rossi
Introducing the most adorable, sweetest little snugglebutt ROSSI
Rossi has been in foster with us and we just adore him
The stunning little chubby boy is a wonderful temperament and we can see him becoming a fabulous addition to any family
Rossi came to us from a country pound at 6 weeks and we were informed he was a Border Collie x and we are pretty sure we can see a hint of staffy in there too. He is currently 5.8 kilos so we think he will grow into a med to large med
Rossi has been in foster with his older pup Doberman friend, his teenage human and foster mum.
Rossi and his older pup friend get along really well, his friend knows he has to be gentle with the âbabyâ and constantly keeps watch over Rossi.
Rossi has begun to play with his older pup friend bouncing around him and playing hide and seek outside, itâs so cute to watch Rossi becoming more confident and playful.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION FORM ONCE YOU HAVE SENT IN YOUR ENQUIRY
FAVORITE THINGS:
Rossi enjoys munching on his Cow Hoof, playing with his small plush dinosaur and stealing his friends toys, taking them down to his crate and hiding them for later
Rossi loves snuggles, he will literally hug you and give you kisses with this tiny wet nose.
INTERACTIONS WITH HUMANS:
Rossi loves everyone, especially if youâve got a cuddle for him.
Rossi has been introduced to lots of people and he is confident with all
OBEDIENCE/TRAINING:
At only 9 weeks old Rossi is showing amazing signs of being easy to train.
He can sit, spin and turn with the help of a toy or a treat.
I can tell this little man is eager to please and learn, he is going to be super easy for his forever family to train further.
ANIMAL SOCIAL SKILLS:
Rossi has been in fostering with his older 8-month old friend who is a lot bigger, that doesnât stop Rossi from playing with him though, they play hide and seek and enjoy exploring the backyard together finding things to chew on.
Rossi has met with other dogs and is happy to meet them.
His favorite being a family member, Jack Russell, Rossi was over the moon with excitement to meet with a dog similar size to him.
FOOD:
Rossi is being fed premium puppy dry food 3 times a day, he has breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Now that heâs realized he doesnât have to compete for his food he will have his breakfast around 6:30-7am when he wakes, if he doesnât eat it all heâs more than happy to finish it off before or after his morning nap.
Lunch is the same.
He also has a little steamed pumpkin added to his dinner meal, he thinks this is yummo and will finish the bowl off so he has a full tummy till the morning.
INDEPENDENCE:
Rossi is still a baby so will follow you around, he has also become very playful and enjoys his humans playing with him and his toys or a little game of tag, you tag Rossi and Rossi will bounce around and tag you back, we love playing this game
SLEEPING:
At home Rossi is sleeping in his crate in his foster's room quite happily, he will sook a little at the start but does settle within minutes.
He is also partial to having a nap next to you on the bed, puppy snuggles are the best!
Out of the home Rossi is happy to nap wherever he is, either next to you on the couch or if a crate is available, he will have his nap in there.
Traveling in the car Rossi will instantly fall asleep, he is not fazed by a car ride at all.
Rossi has around 4-5 naps per day, he will generally stay awake for around 1-2 hours max, being so little he will exert all his energy when he wakes and gets tired.
If he becomes overtired he gets a little crazy and will run around doing zoomies which is adorable watching puppies do
INSIDE THE HOME:
Rossi is happy being inside with his humans as much as he is outside.
IDEAL HOME:
A home with a medium to large backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing.
A home with or without children, they must be dog savvy children who can handle puppy behavior.
A home with or without another dog.If another dog is in residence already we seek a male of medium to large size who is well socialized and tolerant of puppy behavior.
A daily walk. Short walks while he is a puppy and her bones are developing. A moderate-long walk when is older and has more energy to burn.
A lot of love and training! Rossi Should be welcomed as part of the family and not just left on his own in the backyard all the time. Hisnew owner should dedicate time to training and take him to puppy classes.
He is young enough to learn if you have a dog savvy cat
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog / puppy exposure before your family applies for a young pups puppies do teeth and have sharp little puppy teeth
