Artie

Arti has just recently come into care with one of our wonderful foster carers. This is her observations of this precious boy:

“This is gorgeous little Arti, as named by SoCares. He’s a purebred Maltese Terrier and just 6 months old. He has the softest fur you will come across and is still tiny.

He’s very placid and quiet on his own but is surprisingly confident with other dogs. He enjoys playing chaseys with other gentle dogs but can get overwhelmed with boisterous dogs. He does tell them to back away but due to his size this doesn’t always have the effect he desires.

It appears that he isn’t potty trained yet, so he will need someone patient to help him learn. He needs regular grooming to ensure his beautiful coat stays that way.

Due to Arti being so little, he would be best suited to a family with older children who will be gentle with him.

Arti would make the perfect lap dog and loves to be close to people.

He is great in the car and just sits and relaxes immediately.

His tail is a little naked at the moment as he was recently stuck in a fence but this has been treated and hopefully his tail fur grows back in time.”
