Meet Hobie!

Have you ever heard of a cat that purrs when it is at the vet? Well now you have!

Just like his Spider-Man name sake, Hobie is so incredibly loving, confident, curious, and is always there when you need him.

Hobie and his three sisters were found under a house in a slightly rural area. This litter took to the resident, child, and resident old dog with ease. When they came to foster care, all wanted to be friends straight away with the resident cats and other foster kittens. In true Hobie fashion, he innocently ‘left’ quarantine on his first day home to snuggle with another foster kitten.

His daily routine involves lots of smooching up to his foster mum, presenting himself for cuddles, purring like a truck, having a play, then immediately going back for kisses.
Not much phases this little boy!

Hobie would love to go to a home with one of his sisters (Mayday, Gwen, or Parker), or to a home with a friendly cat or dog. He’s good with kids too!

Disclaimer- one of Hobie’s eyes can look a bit weird.
The vet thinks it’s highly likely that before he came into foster care, something punctured his left eye. It has all healed up, and the specialist vet determined there’s no vision impairment or future work needed, but it can look a little weird when first noticed. Part of his iris connected to his cornea when healing. Regardless, there’s no effect on him.
