Isa (eesa)

Say hello to our one-eyed beauty, the Pirate Queen Isa! (pronounced 'eesa') This girl may look like a pirate, but is really a little bundle of love, and is looking for a home where she will receive plenty of pats and affection from her family. Isa is not a very active cat and loves nothing more than to sit alongside her humans on the couch getting frequent tickles, rubs, strokes and scritches as they watch their favourite TV show or read a book.

Another firm favourite activity is being brushed with a puppy slicker. Isa will purr blissfully as you brush her all over, keeping her beautiful soft, black coat gleaming.

Isa loves to chat to her people, frequently reminding them of feeding time, and leading them to her bowl. She will happily engage in a conversation with you, answering back, whenever you speak to her. Once she has settled into her new home, Captain Isa will enjoy games with wand toys and ropes, but don't expect her to let go of the toy once she has it in her hook!

Isa would probably cope with a gentle family dog, with very slow introductions, and has lived with a dog in her foster home. She would prefer a home with older children or adults, who won't carry her around, because she prefers to use her own feet to get about. She would love to have a tall cat-scratching pole to keep her impressive pirate hooks in good condition, and if it has a crow's nest on top, even better!
