He loves food and is very responsive to treats, so these will be so helpful in any ongoing training you do with him. Ringo is still learning how to be a dog, but he did sit for his dinner for the first time the other night - his foster mum and dad were happy to report. He is such a snuggle bug, he loves to curl up in your lap and adores getting attention. He is a delicate dog but doesn't shy away from noises i.e. the vacuum and motorbikes. His foster fur brother is busy teaching Ringo how to play with all of his toys. He will ask to go to the toilet outside, as he hasn't gotten the hang of the doggy door.... just yet. Ringo is happy to be around cats and other dogs, a real sweet soul.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
