About Toby
Toby is an energetic and affectionate pup who loves to be around his people! He's already fully toilet trained, but may have some settling in accidents. As Toby is used to being around people a lot, he would do best in a home where someone can work from home or be at home most of the time.
A good sized backyard, high fences and daily walks are non negotiable for this bouncy boy. Toby enjoys zoomies and playing fetch or tug of war, and he loves when his people give him belly rubs! He's quickly adjusted to indoor pet life, even lifting his little paws up for a clean when asked. Toby knows at least 6 commands and is an eager learner - though sometimes the excitement of life can get the best of him! Toby plays well off-leash with other dogs in fenced areas, but still needs help with leash reactivity towards other dogs, children, small animals, and jumping. No cats or pocket pets for this pup please!
At first Toby showed signs of separation anxiety when left alone but does settle with enrichment toys and distraction. Toby may suit a companion dog who can help him learn better doggy manners; however, caution should be taken with smaller dogs due to his chase/prey drive. With time and patience Toby will prove to be the most dedicated companion you could wish for!
