About Poppy
"Darling Poppy has a particularly sweet and gentle nature. She loves all people and animals, of all ages, and lives life assuming they will all love her too. She is super chill for a puppy her age, and is so easy to train and to work with. All of these elements combined mean she would make an absolutely wonderful family dog.
Deeply endearing, she will snuggle with her human family at the drop of a hat, and share lovely kisses with you if you allow her too. Her exercise needs are only moderate and easy to manage. She currently lives with a number of cats as welll as dogs, and has successfully learned to interact with cats in a way that they feel safe and respected.
She is currently very dependant on the adult dogs in her home to show her how things work and what she should be doing, so she will need an desex adult male dog in her new home too. Poppy also loves her daily play time with the other dogs in her foster home. Wrestling is her favoured style, rather than zoomies. This too makes her a safer youngster than some others to have around small children in a family setting..
She is responding well to basic training, like sit, stay, and leave. Poppy has been toilet trained and is also trained to sleep in crate at night."
We believe Poppy may be a Staffy/Cattle Dog mix but exact breed is unknown.
*Please only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt this pet now, and if all family members are in support of the adoption. *

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
