About Misty
Introducing Misty, a tender-hearted almost five-year-old who has endured a tumultuous past before finding solace in the care of Forever Friends. Misty's elderly owner, unable to provide for her needs, entrusted her to a younger family member who reluctantly took on the responsibility. Sadly, Misty suffered neglect, enduring mistreatment, irregular meals, and insufficient access to fresh water. Thankfully, she was ultimately surrendered to Forever Friends, where she has blossomed into an absolute delight under their compassionate care.
Initially wary of humans, it is understandable considering her experiences. However, Misty quickly warmed up to her dedicated caregivers, revealing her incredibly affectionate nature. She adores nuzzling her head against those who care for her and delights in offering gentle, loving licks. While Misty relishes head scratches, she prefers not to have her belly touched.
Misty thrives as the sole furry resident in her forever home, a sanctuary where she can receive the undivided attention, love, and affection she so rightfully deserves after enduring difficult years prior to her rescue. She finds contentment in life's simple pleasures: a gentle pat, playful interactions, and tasty treats. As bedtime approaches, Misty engages in an adorable ritual, activating her "biscuit factory," which is an endearing sight to behold.
Recently, Misty underwent dental surgery, during which some teeth were extracted. Fortunately, she has received a clean bill of health. However, her forever home should remain mindful of her dental care, scheduling regular check-ups to ensure her continued well-being.
