Rand is a sweet and excitable little soul who just wants to be loved and showered with your affection.

He loves to cuddle on the couch and would very much like to always be by your side.

His perfect day would involve a walk to sniff and explore as much as he can,as many pats and belly rubs as humanly possible, a little sunbaking, chewing on a bone, playing with his favourite toys, and then hitting the couch for some snuggles and more belly rubs at night.

Rand would enjoy having another companion dog as he doesn’t like being left alone and would benefit from having a mentor who he can learn from.
However, he will require a slow introduction as he hasn’t had much socialisation with dogs.
Alternatively, if he’s to be an only dog, would ideally have someone that works from home, as he can become vocal and anxious particularly in a new environment when on his own.

He is highly food motivated and can be a little sneaky if no one is around and food is within reach.
He travels well in the car and walks great on lead.
He would greatly benefit from some basic training as he is a quick learner and eager to please.
Rand shows his excitement by jumping and barking but will calm down with your guidance.
He can be a little cheeky and if given the opportunity would love to dive under the blankets/doona and have a bit of a nap.

Rand would love a family who will include him in their daily lives. He would be suited to a home with kids over the age of 6, as he is quite jumpy and could easily knock over a small child in his excitement.

He loves all the attention and affection he can get and will provide you with many cuddles, kisses, and unconditional love.
