Hi there! I’m Millie, a young female black and tan Kelpie with the cutest big ears.

I am a very happy and playful girl who loves to learn new skills and be with people. I really enjoy my daily walks with my foster mum and meeting new dog friends. I am ready to find my forever home with someone who I can give my love.

I am a fast learner and have already mastered recall, sit and shake and have nearly got drop and stay too. I am well-behaved on and off the lead and always come back when my foster mum calls me, but I am still working on staying calm when I see cars driving past. I still have lots of puppy energy and like playing with toys and my foster brothers, but I am quickly learning when it’s play time or time to relax.

I love having a backyard to play in during the day while my foster mum is at work and will happily sleep outside or inside in my crate. I like being around other dogs, but prefer social and easy-going friends, as otherwise I can feel a bit overwhelmed. I am very gentle with people, love to have cuddles and will always be by your side.

I am looking for a home with someone who is experienced with working breeds and who can continue teaching me to be the best dog I can be. I like to play with kids but haven’t spent too much time with them so I can sometimes get excited. For that reason I would be best in a home with older kids. My big ears and I have lots love to give and can’t wait to find my new best friend.
