About Ruby
Introducing Ruby - a kelpie girl puppy on the hunt for her perfect forever home. Ruby is an exuberant, confident and clever pup keen to be involved in all aspects of family life.
Ruby is well socialised and great with other dogs and people. She travels well in the car and is comfortable and confident exploring new environments. Ruby loves to play with the children in her foster home but her high energy levels mean she is best suited to a family with older children.
Ruby loves heading out for a walk and is making some progress with loose lead walking; she will need continued work on this. Ruby has made a great start on her basic manners. Being a typical, clever kelpie pup, Ruby responds well to firm boundaries and consistency. As such, she will need a family experienced with working dog breeds, who are home more often than not and have the time to commit to her ongoing training. An older, energetic and tolerant, doggy sibling will help Ruby become the best version of herself.
At the end of a long day, Ruby settles well in her crate and sleeps soundly, recharging for another day of exciting adventures. If you are an active family up for the challenge of adding a clever puppy to your lives, please apply - you will definitely be rewarded with lots of love, licks and companionship.
Ruby is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
