About Siska
Let us introduce you to Siska. The best thing about this senior lady is her gentle and affectionate nature. She loves to shower her humans with love and enjoys being in a calm and serene environment.
To describe Siska's personality, we can use words like couch potato, sensitive soul, cuddle bug, calm and friendly. A heated bed, good food, and laps are amongst her favourite things.
One of Siska's quirks is that she is quite chatty. She loves to communicate and will have gentle conversations with you. A typical day in Siska's life involves lots of sleeping and looking fabulous. She knows how to indulge in relaxation and enjoys taking long naps.
When it comes to showing affection and connecting with people, Siska excels in gentle cuddles, gentle bunting (nuzzling), chatting, gentle kisses, and purring. These are her ways of expressing love and building a strong bond with her human friends. Quiet time spent with Siska makes her truly happy. She appreciates a calm environment where she can feel safe and cherished.
Siska's match would be in a calm household, preferably with indoor living. She would do well in an adult-only household, who can provide her with the love and attention she deserves. A home where someone is present more often than not would be ideal for Siska. While she prefers a calm environment, she may be open to living with other feline or canine friends, as long as they are quiet and polite.
Siska is litter trained and won't cause any issues in that area. Siska is currently in foster care after her elderly owner experienced health issues.
She would absolutely love to have a warm lap to sit on. She doesn't ask for much, just a little bit of love and a safe space to call her own. She truly is the sweetest little bundle of love waiting to bring joy to your life.
Medical notes
Siska is currently on anxiety medication to help her feel a bit braver. She also has normal lens aging and so her pupils are more dilated. This does not cause vision loss, but has more to do with the focus. This means she may have trouble seeing small bits of food in front of her, or may have trouble with steps. Surgery is not required. Siska has no teeth and early-stage renal disease.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
