With a cat-astrophic number of cats and kittens looking for homes at the shelter, it’s time for Cat Couples Week to try and find loving homes for many of our bonded pairs of felines at the shelter. Many of our fabulous felines have either grown up at the shelter, been found together living the street life or have met their paw-fect match while waiting on pet life. Our bonded cat buddies would love the chance to find a home and family with either their sibling or chosen buddy, as 2 cats (or 3 or 4) are better than one!! Adopting a bonded pair gives your feline friend a lifelong companion, a mate to play and get up to mischief with, a warm body to cuddle and peace of mind for paw-rents that their kitty is not alone when not at home. Help us continue the romance that has bloomed in our cattery, and adopt yourself a couple of cats!!
Abbie & Timmy are a darling pair of 7 month old kittens that we suspect are a Maine Coon mix due to their fluffy and luxurious mane that they wear with grace and pride!
The best way to tell these beautiful fluffballs apart is their eye colour; Abbie has gorgeous yellow-green eyes while Timmy eye's is a stunning light-coloured shade of green!
Abbie is a bit shyer than her brother but has come leaps and bounds very quickly and is always looking for a chance to cuddle!
Timmy arrived quite happy and confident and ready to be fawned over! Timmy is Abbie's rock for comfort and happiness; Timmy's confidence has helped Abbie settle in quickly and happily.
This dynamic duo are the purr-fect combination of sweet, easy-going and affectionate. These kitties loooove getting lots of pats and cuddles and just being the centre of attention! They truly are gentle, affectionate souls that are eager to share their loving nature with their forever family.
Abbie & Timmy aren't too fussy in terms of what they would like in their forever home, but a loving family that wouldn't mind giving them lots of love and affection and someone who will keep them safe and sound as indoor only kitties will do perfectly!
