Hello everyone my name is Liliana, and I am gentle lady who will require time to trust and show just how affectionate I am when I feel safe .
Let’s face it, this instantaneous world can be a difficult one for someone like me. I won’t jump into your lap as soon as you walk into the room, purr the second your hand touches me, or come running to you the moment I see you.
When I first came to live in my foster home I was scared and it showed in everything I did. I hid under the bed because I thought that was the safest place to be. How do you feel when you go to strange places with strange people? I think a lot of people don’t understand that not everyone is the same, some of us are confident, some not so much, some of us have been through a lot and need some time to heal, and some of us just need time.
My foster mum, well she understands things like that. She let me stay under the bed until , bit by bit I got my “ brave” on. Well you should see me now. All those things I said I didn’t do in that paragraph, I do all of those now. I’ll do just about anything for a pat these days. You ask my foster mum, she will tell you every time she tries to take a photo of the other fosters I make it very difficult for her because I am trying to get her attention and her pats.
Now I spend my days chilling with my foster brothers and sisters ( feline and canine), finding nice sunny spots by the window, and popping up all over the house chasing those pats that I now adore.
How did the change come about? Time and the understanding that we aren’t all the same, and you know what, when something is really worth it, waiting doesn’t seem to matter much.
I am Liliana, and I am certainly worth the wait.
PLEASE NOTE: WEEKEND MEET AND GREETS ONLY DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS ❤

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
