About Tilly
Introducing Tilly, a loyal 1 year old female Border Collie × Kelpie. Given the chance, she may just be your next bite size cuddle!
Tilly loves nothing more than a good swim, followed by a good snooze on the couch next to her favourite humans. When she is not found next to her favourite people, she is often found wrestling with her foster-siblings, discovering a new smell, chasing a ball or playing some tug.
She is a dedicated student, and has spent time well learning her manners, such as sitting before receiving attention, respecting items, and waiting patiently at doors. She is fully crate trained, with basic obedience including sit, down, come, leave and wait/go, which she knows really well! She is fully house trained, and walks well on lead.
Tilly is a still a young dog, and so can still get easily excited. We have been working on her off switch and impulse control around cars and trucks and have seen great improvements. Tilly is a sensitive girl, and can have timid moments where her confidence lacks so would benefit from a family that will continue her training and help her grow in confidence.
Tilly would do well in an experienced working dog home with secure fencing. She would adore a couple of doggie siblings. Tilly is still an energetic young dog and best suited to older children at the moment. She loves being part of the family, and loves nothing more than a good adventure, so a home where she could be included - whether that would be at the beach, or movie night, she would fit right in.
Tilly is located in VIC.
