About Molly
Introducing Molly, a sweet Border Collie with a heart full of love and cuddles to give! She is a typically busy whippersnapper with plenty of best buddy potential and is looking for an experienced working dog home. At first impressions, Molly can be a bit reserved, but under the exterior, Molly is ultra sweet and affectionate. Molly LOVES pats and would be the perfect snuggler.
While in care Molly has learnt to sit, is working on her drop and is fully toilet trained. Molly has great training potential and is improving in leaps and bounds in foster care. Molly will try just about anything for a piece of chicken or snag. She has been introduced to a crate and settles calmly in it to sleep and will go through the night without a peep.
Molly came into foster care with an obsession with cars and a waning to chase them, however, she has improved immensely while in care with consistent training and exposure which will need to continue in her new home. Molly can now loose lead walk (with chicken encouragement!) in suburban area’s. She remains car wary but will continue to grow in confidence with the right home who has the commitment and knowledge to show Molly that the world is not so scary! Molly is always eager to jump in the back of the wagon for an adventure, and does benefit from being crated to travel.
Molly will need a home that is experienced with working breeds and due to her excitability and in a family with older kids if any. Having a calm and confident big brother has helped Molly settle in, but she would also suit being in an only dog household as long as her mental and physical needs were met. Secure fencing is also must as Molly can squeeze through small gaps. She longs for a country setting with space to run, away from the suburbs.
Ready for a loving and intelligent companion? Molly awaits your application, promising endless snuggles, exciting adventures, and a bond that lasts a lifetime!
