Soda Pop

Found on the streets as a spicy and scared little kitten, Soda Pop has realised that inside life and particularly PEOPLE are the best! Now Soda just wants to be with you at all times and calls out when he can't find you and will trot around following you from room to room.

Soda Pop's favourite daytime activity is napping on your lap, where he will fall into a deep contented, floppy sleep for hours. He wakes intermittently with half eyes to stare adoringly at you. Soda loves a good play in the mornings and gets the zoomies in the evening. Soda Pop also LOVES other cats and delights in chasing his foster cat friends around. He has a particular love of wand toys like 'Da Bird' but even just a bit of scrunched up paper is a good time!

Soda Pop can get overwhelmed at times and can be a bit scared of too many people. Soda would suit a quieter home without young children, where people are home more often than not. Ideally there is another cat friend at home to keep Soda company when you're out. It would be ideal if you Work from home some days so Soda can join in on your meetings - he will keep your productivity high by keeping you trapped at your desk as he sleeps away the work day on your lap.

Like all Maggie's pets, Soda Pop is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Soda will thrive with people who are home more often than not and include him in their day. He would also do best in a home with another cat friend.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Soda oscillates between play time and nap time.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Soda can get overwhelmed if too many people are around - there is still a bit a scared street cat in there that will continue to improve as he settles more and more into indoor life. He would be ok for children over 5 that are respectful of him.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Soda LOVES playing with the other cats in the home and is super friendly with them all. He currently lives with a small dog and they get on fine although not overly interested in each other.
