About Dana
Hi, I’m Dana, an Australian Cattle dog X. I’m on the smaller side and weigh around 17kgs. While I can be timid meeting new people, I warm up quickly and show my playful side.
I haven’t had a lot of obedience training but I’m a quick learner. I am toilet trained and can use a dog door. At my foster's, I discovered toys and I LOVE playing with them. Sleeping on the couch is really my first love and if you let me, I’ll be on your lap with my head on your shoulder. I’m also ok with settling in my own space as I am crate trained and sleep in there at night happily.
It took a bit of time for me to warm to my doggie foster brother, I preferred the crate for a bit so that I had my own safe space. But after some time I grew to love him and now he’s my best bud. So if you have a dog already, I’d need you to be willing to give me some time and TLC until I trust them. I’ve seen cats and they don’t interest me at all. I think I’d just ignore them.
I walk well on a lead, but I do get a bit anxious when I see other dogs on a walk so will need reassurance and perhaps some socialisation training. A daily walk sees me sleeping for the rest of the day.
I’ve got lots of love to give and really want my own family. If you think I’d be a good new family member for you and you have the patience to let me settle in, then please take the time to fill out an application for me. I promise I’ll be worth it.
