About Cody
Cody is a lovely boy looking for a calm and loving home where he can feel relaxed and take his time to build his confidence in the big wide world. He would love an owner who is happy to work at his pace using rewards-based methods to build his confidence and develop a good relationship.
This sweet boy loves interacting with people and laps up affection. He enjoys playing with stuffed toys and tennis balls. He knows how to find a comfy spot on the couch and uses a doggy door to let himself outside to find sunny spots for snoozing.
Cody will benefit from a quiet environment where he can be exposed to novelty at a controlled pace. Therefore a quiet outer suburban or less built-up location would suit him best. Cody would suit a home with calm, well-socialised adult dogs or would be happy to live as an only dog. He has no history with cats but may be able to adapt to living with a feline flatmate with a slow introduction.
Cody has a heart of gold, and with the right human by his side, he will learn to become a confident and content canine companion living his best life!

To assist him in feeling comfortable while he builds his confidence and transitions to a new home, Cody is taking daily medication prescribed by a veterinary behaviourist. A post-adoption follow-up consultation may see him able to transition off of this medication. The cost of this follow-up consultation is included in Cody's adoption fee.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
