Personality: Cecil is a very sweet dog that loves to give lots of love. He can be timid initially when meeting new people, but once he gets comfortable, he'll become the most loyal companion you could ask for. He is good with other dogs and loves to have playmates around him.
Exercise Needs: This active breed requires lots of exercise and daily walks are essential for his physical and mental well-being. Cecil is the perfect partner for someone who loves the outdoors and enjoys taking their furry friend with them. He would thrive with someone who can take him on long hikes or runs.
Training Needs: Kelpies are very intelligent dogs that love to learn. Cecil would benefit from attending obedience training classes and socialisation classes to help him build his confidence and social skills.
Fun Facts about Kelpies:
✅The word 'Kelpie' is Gaelic and means "water sprite".
✅As well a being herding dogs, Kelpies, now perform many tasks, including search and rescue, detection, assistance work, performance dog sports, and just living as beloved companion animals.

🐥 While under the care of Willow Tree Sanctuary, our dogs are desexed (at the right age) microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (6 months+), treated monthly for parasites and have any other necessary vet treatment required.

Adoption details
Steps to finding you forever friend:
1. Complete adoption application via our website for be reviewed for suitability.
2. If approved, contact will be made to arrange for a meet and greet.
3. Invoice and adoption email to applicant.
4. Meet & greet takes place.
5. If successful, vet history & waiver document, and contract is sent to applicant.
6. Applicant is required to view the Adoption Contract online and sign.
7. Applicant is required to pay the full adoption fee.
8. Once steps 1-7 have been completed, the animal can commence trial.
9. After trial is complete, confirmation email and microchip form will be sent to the applicant.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
