About Dandelion
Dandelion is an ex-"Street rat" turned "Diamond in the Rough". Without the Rough! He is cuddly, social, and loves to explore his home. So far, he has loved 95% of everyone he has met, and eagerly greets new visitors. While with us here at the veterinary hospital, he loves to sit with the veterinarian while she works, purring away in his bed!
If you're looking for a total love bug to be your Buddy, Dandelion is just the boy for you!
Dandelion should be able to integrate to most respectful households as well as any other cat! He does appear fearful of dogs, and will stand his ground and swat rather than flee. Respectful children are tolerated, and will likely be deeply loved once he acclimates! Anything for lovin'! If you have other pets, make sure you have plenty of time for Dandelion too...he'll come looking for it!
Medical notes
Dandelion suffered a pelvic fracture "in the wild", but he is well-healed and recovering! He receives ongoing joint support supplementation and is presently on a graduated exercise program while he rebuilds his strength. He may retain mild mobility disabilities, and will be at higher risk of arthritis as he ages. Some pain medication or stool softening may be needed on/off in his life.
Our hospital will continue to offer Dandelion's family well subsidised medical support for this problem, including his supplements.
