Meet Nugget!

This sweet boy is absolutely terrified of the world, at only 8 months old, Nugget hasn't had the chance to experience all of the wonderful things life has to offer. Because of this, Nugget is looking for a very special home. This home needs to ensure he is the only pet in the home and has adults only. Nugget's new family needs to be committed to growing Nugget's confidence and reducing his fear of new and unfamiliar environments.

Please understand that Nugget may not be his best self when you come to the shelter to meet him, but we promise that the journey you will go on together will be magical.

Nugget has been quite reactive to other dogs whilst in our care and it is important that he is not taken to any off-leash dog areas when walking in the community.

In the short time we have been getting to know Nugget we have found that he absolutely loves tennis balls and playing with toys, once he starts to trust you, you will start to see the silly goofy side to him.

Nugget already has some basic skills, but will strongly benefit from positive force-free training, we recommend giving him some space to settle in your home before getting started with his ongoing training.
