About Willow - 11 Week Old Shar-pei X (Trial)
Intelligence, loyalty and independence, that’s what you can expect from sharpei x puppies. Despite being so young, these 3 siblings individual personalities are already emerging. They are looking to be adopted to separate homes.
Annie is the most extrovert and confident. She loves to bounce and pounce, playing at full speed before her nap. Annie will make you laugh, doing zoomies and spending time in the yard with her foster carers staffy - and isn’t at all concerned about the size difference.
Maggie is the thinker, the quiet achiever. She’ll ponder her playmates before deciding if she wants to play chasings with them, or go off and do her own thing. Maggie will melt into your arms after asking for a cuddle. Bliss.
Willow is a bit of a party girl. She’ll match Annie for play and will do zoomies with 100% commitment. Willow will come for a cuddle but just as quickly as she arrives, she’ll wriggle and squirm and take off again to play with her siblings.
Typically puppy, the 3 will play at full speed then take a well earned nap together in their crate. Then it will be feed time, play, rest, and repeat! They love to climb onto their foster carers lap for cuddles so need a home where interaction with their human family is encouraged. They need to sleep inside and be allowed in the house at all times as they really want to bond with their human family.
Training is a must with this intelligent breed and should start as soon as possible. Although starting to learn basic commands, we always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Annie, Maggie and Willow have had good socialisation with people and other dogs. It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate. If you don't have another dog for company, then ideally there will be someone in the household home most of the time.
Each puppy has a $700 adoption fee which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes the first two vaccinations. Treatment for fleas and worms has been done and of course all 3 are microchipped.
You can meet these pups at their foster carers place in Anna Bay, NSW. Maggie, Annie and Willow are not yet desexed, so only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. You’ll need to take them to one of our approved vets for desexing when 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet these pups, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If applying for Willow, please use name Willow Sharpei as we currently have a few Willows in care. If you have any questions, you can send an email to seige1@yahoo.com.au.
