Chippy 🌸🌸

Chippy came into the rescue as a stray and the timing of her entry into the rescue coincided with a little cat, who was also in the rescue, becoming unwell and eventually having to have a caesarean birth and being too sick to look after her babies.

The babies were housed in a humidicrib and bottle fed by Chippy’s carer and it soon became evident that Chippy wanted to be a part of the care team.

She did an absolutely amazing job toileting and cleaning the kittens. She was there to help at each of the feeds, day and night, to offer assistance and make sure they were properly attended to before they were returned to the humidicrib.

What Chippy did for those kittens was incredible … she’d sit on the arm of the chair watching her foster mum feed and she’d join the kittens on her foster mum’s lap the minute they finished their milk and provide the care that their mumma wasn’t able to … her nurturing ensured their survival.

The babies are now up for adoption and Chippy is ready to move on into her very own forever home.

She’s a cracker of a cat. She’s a happy, friendly girl with a bit of sass. She’s super friendly yet not needy. She’s adaptable and resilient.

She likes to get your attention by wrapping herself around your legs but is quick to let go if you tell her to.

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Chippy will see very quickly what a special girl she is.
