Henry is a delightful and intelligent little dog who is very easy going and all he asks for is your company, a comfortable bed and a daily walk.

Henry has typical poodle tendencies… He likes to be the center of attention at all times. Thinks the world revolves around him and believes his hooman is there to serve all of his needs lol
He will let you know when he needs to go outside and will be sure to let you know if he wants something. Hes simply adorable

He prefers to be inside with his humans but has been found outside sunning himself on a nice day. He also loves visitors and greets them very enthusiastically. Henry is definitely one who thrives on human company so we are looking for a home where he will be around people for a lot of the day
If you are outside in the garden. Don't think he going to stay inside and watch you without some form of vocal displeasure, As I said he has so many toy poodle traits
Interaction with other animals
He has been introduced to another large dog, initially was a bit weary and uncomfortable in the situation, he settled after a walk together but wasn’t really interested in any interaction so would probably be suited to a home where he is the only dog and the center of his homans world
Independence
Henry likes playing with his ball and will play fetch for a while and also loves his squeaky toys.
If he is locked outside but can still see you he will bark however if left home alone inside he settles down without barking. Therefore a doggy door would be ideal
Exercise
Henry loves his daily walk and does not pull on his lead. He loves greeting new people but is quite indifferent to other dogs.
Obedience
Henry is well behaved inside the house. He does like to be up on the couch with you. Takes treats gentle
Knows basic commands

Henry either sleeps in his own fluffy bed in his carers bedroom or on the bed - whichever he chooses
Medical
Henry has had a full dental and a cracked tooth removed
Car Travel
Henry is very happy to jump into the car but he doesn’t travel very well and barks almost continuously until he gets out again. He may be better if he was to travel in a crate to make him feel more secure and the use of some sedation on longer trips. We are not sure if it is over excitement or nerves as it's hard to tell.

Hygiene
Henry being a poodle x does need regular grooming and we don’t want him to endure what he did before with a poorly maintained coat. Family need to be committed and understand the extra financial cost of grooming
Toileting
He is completely house trained but would benefit from a doggy door to enable him to come and go as he pleases.
Ideal home
Henry seeks a quiet home with heaps of love
Home with a small yard is sufficient but no apartment living. He needs grass
No very young children as he will feel overwhelmed with a lot of noise
Someone home more often than not
Someone who isn’t expecting to travel long distances with him due to his dislike of car trips
A family able to commit to regular grooming
