About Hugo
(Hugo is not coping in kennels so we need to find him a suitable foster home)
The forever home the owner felt he had found, was not suitable, Hugo can easily be walked past other dogs, and he does have a doggy friend at the kennels , but he will need training once a new home is found.
With all the stress and changes and losing the only family they have ever known, we are now finding that Hugo is reacting when he sees other dogs whilst in his kennel, but his behavior is improving once he is out on his walk.
We have had long talks with his owner (who has now relocated to Singapore where this breed is classified as a "prohibited breed" so was not able to take the dogs with him) he is saying the dogs have always been together, never had any issues with each other, or in fact with any dogs they have met during their lives.
Because of what we have been told, and knowing the stress the dogs have endured, we would like to find them a home initially together or apart, but with NO OTHER PETS in the home.
These 2 gorgeous brother and sister (not by birth), Hugo and Mila, 3- and 4-year-old English Staffordshire terriers are desperately needing to find a new home together.
They are the most sweetest dogs who love humans. They are very happy dogs and have been well looked after.
HUGO: is good with cats, he is ball mad, will play fetch all day long.
Hugo will need to be brought into the home during storms. Toilet trained, both dogs would sleep outside during the summer, but would prefer to sleeps inside if possible Minimal barking.
Commands: sit, lay, wait, drop, bed, leave it, come.
Walks well on lead.
Loves children, has been living with small children with his family.
NO OTHER PETS IN THE HOME.
Medical notes
Hugo must be brought inside during storms and fireworks
