HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption process includes a questionnaire and or an interview. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.

We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in their new pet, lifestyle, children's ages, prepared to train, provide enrichment, for cats to be indoor only cats unless their is a good sized out door walk in enclosure etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
