About Byron
Meet Byron, a charming and affectionate feline companion who’s finding his way in the world. He's learning to overcome his initial shyness, revealing a curious and spunky character underneath. While he might still be a bit jumpy and wary of his surroundings, his sense of adventure and inherent curiosity wins over, leading him to continuously explore and discover more about the world every day. His lively personality shines when he indulges in his 'zoomies', often after spending a good part of the day by himself.
While Byron appreciates some playful batting around with his bouncy balls, he adores one-on-one attention. He has his unique way of chatting, eager to engage in your daily review of events. This endearing companion will approach you on his own and deliver sweet head bumps as a sign of affection. His excitement might lead to some well-intentioned but light nibbles and scratches - a calm and patient approach is the key to making him feel comfortable and loved.
Moreover, Byron isn't your typical lap cat - he isn't too fond of being picked up but show him some food, and he'll make a brave attempt to hop into your lap. Over time, he might just warm up to you enough to use your lap for a cozy nap.
This gentle soul takes delight in a good meal and follows a balanced diet of two to three wet meals a day and dry food nibbles throughout. Not the biggest fan of dry food, he will patiently wait for you to top up his bowl.
What Byron truly desires is the comfort of a kind soul who can offer him a warm, quiet corner of the world where he can grow and flourish, secure in the knowledge of being genuinely loved. He would truly thrive in an environment with room to explore while being close to someone who understands and respects his boundaries.
Medical notes
Gabapentin x 100mg per day prescribed by his vet.
Recent vet visit, very healthy indeed.
