Summer

Summer has been with us for more than three years - she needs and wants a home please!

She likes to play fetch (bringing the toy back is optional and she's not fanatical about this game), she loves to dig in the sandpit, play with the hose, snuggle with you on the sofa. She spends a lot of time in our offices lounging around quietly just being with the people, and nudging us towards the treat drawer. She has perfected her sit 'cos she loves treats. Summer has told us she requires a yard big enough to zoom in, and will likely indulge herself twice a day, just to make a change from couch-time.

September 2024 Summer spent a fortnight on adoption trial with another dog and a cat but was reluctantly returned to us as the dog did not cope well with the change. There were no problems between the dogs or the cat.

Summer will give an appropriate growl or bark when she doesn't want another animal in her space, so other pets would preferably be quiet, non-assertive ones who don't need to interact, sleep with or on her. She wants to snuggle with people, not animals!
To be completely honest, Summer much prefers people to other pets, but she tells us she will consider all offers.
