Baby Peri was born with a congenital condition called microphthalmia. He is completely blind, but thankfully his eye malformations do not cause any pain, discomfort or complications. He will be able to live a happy and content life and will always just be perfectly ‘special’ 🥹

Blind cats adapt so quickly to new environments and their quality of life is never diminished ❤️ They are able to keep up with their sighted counterparts and rarely need special attention once they have settled into their environment. Please don’t be discouraged or wary of disability 🙏🏻💫

Periwinkle is so affectionate and loving. He is a loud purr machine and loves to smooch your face, hold your hand and play on his back. He is social with all people, dogs and is starting to show interest in playing with other cats.

Peri has been desexed, FIV/FeLV tested (Negative), vaccinated twice, microchipped. He is littler trained and ready to start his new life!

We will provide in-depth and ongoing advice to his adoptive family on owning a blind kitty. After some initial accommodations, they are no different to owning a sighted fur baby ❤️
