About Chester
Chester is a sweet 12-week-old rescue kitten looking for his forever home! He has a soft, luxurious ginger coat and the most innocent green eyes.
Chester loves to eat treats, play with another friendly cat, and be patted by his humans. His favourite places to hang out are near the window so he can take in the sunshine, snuggled up on your lap or on the cat tree.
He is excellent with people and loves getting lots of attention. Chester is also great with other cats and enjoys playing with them. When he first came to his foster home, he was a little shy but quickly warmed up to his loving foster family. Now he loves being around people and other cats in his foster home.
The ideal home for Chester would be a loving family who can provide him with lots of love and patience as he continues to grow and develop into a happy adult cat.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
