Hello everyone, my name is Reddick, and I know we have just started to chat, but I have to get serious, and I do mean very, very serious. You see I was adopted out by another rescue in November 2022 but by May 2023 I found myself in a pound on death row. The vet had even been booked to end my life but Silver Lining Pet Rescue stepped in and saved me.
So now I hope you understand, if you are thinking of adopting, nothing less than a forever and a day home is the one for me. I need to know I will be a loved family member for the rest of my days. No more near death experiences for me !
So now that we have all that serious stuff out of the way, let me tell you a little about myself. I have been in my foster home a little while now and I have settled in beautifully. I was a little scared when I first arrived, but that of course is to be expected after all that I had been through, and all new surroundings.
I live with other cats and 2 dog, and we all get along, no problems. I do enjoy playing with my foster siblings, and you will often see me giving nose to nose kisses that makes my foster mum smile every time.
A sucker for cuddles, you can carry me around like a baby. I have been known to fall off the bed while concentrating too hard on getting attention (no laughing please) so you can definitely call me a people’s person. If I am on my scratch tree and you walk past I will give you a gentle tap, claws in, just to let you know that I like contact with my peoples.
Now that’s about me in wrap up. I am a very special loving little man who deserves a loving permanent home. If you think you could give me that I promise to repay with lots of love and laugh out loud moments.
