About Socks
Allow us to present Socks!
Socks is referred by his foster carer as a bit of a SNAC (sensitive new aged cat) who is dressed to impress in his very own tux.
A connoisseur of human company, Socks enjoys sprawling on your lap whilst you watch TV, bonding over a grooming session and sharing your pillow. Someone home a bit to enjoy such leisure would be great for Socks.
Socks is a lover of food (and enjoys an early breakfast), but is still coming to terms with his required diet and can at times be found checking out what is on the bench, stashed in the cupboard, or ensuring the rubbish is in fact rubbish.
When not relaxing with you or in a sunbeam, Socks does enjoy having a run around and his play time, especially a wand toy with feathers.
In the past Socks has lived with a friendly female cat, and maybe ok to do so in the future. However, care will need to be taken with differing diets and ensuring the appropriate amount of resources are provided for both cats.

You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:

Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
