About Sam
I'M AVAILABLE TO MEET AT PETSTOCK MELROSE PARK
Hi! My name's Sam! I came into care due to a domestic violence situation with my mum and siblings. Unfortunately, my mum got sick and passed away 😿 My siblings and I made it through though, and now I'm ready for my next adventure! I'm at PETstock Melrose Park with my brother Eric so we can find a home of our very own!
I'm a super purry boy that loves playing! I'll keep you entertained for hours while I zoom around the house. Give me a toy mouse, ball, crumpled-up bit of paper, bottle top... you name it and I'll play with it! When I've worn myself out, I'll come up for a pat or go to sleep in a comfy bed.
Sam has been:
- Tried with cats and loves them
- Tried with children and was fine with them
- Untried with dogs
***To be kept strictly indoors only or with access to a secure cat enclosure***
Sam is approximately 18 weeks old (approx DOB: 2/2/23) and his adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatment until date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get him started.
Sam is available to meet at PETstock Melrose Park
If you would like to meet him, please head to 1089 South Road Melrose Park and speak to one of the lovely staff members!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
