About Suki
Suki is a beautiful dog with an adventurous spirit. She loves to be active and explore, whether it's running in an open field, swimming at the beach or going for a walk. She enjoys playing chase with people and other dogs and joyously loves to run as fast as she can!
Even though she is an active pup, Suki is happy to spend most of her day relaxing in her bed, listening to music and chewing on her nylon bone. She loves daily exercise and would really enjoy a yard big enough for her to run and play. When it’s bedtime this darling girl likes to curl up at your feet all snug and warm until morning.
Suki loves cuddles her people often gazing loving up into your eyes while you pat her. She even pats you back, placing her paw on you while you pat her. She will be full of joy and kisses when you return home and loves to be close to you when you’re at home, but she doesn’t need constant attention. She actually enjoys having some downtime relaxing close by but not actually being given affection.
Suki loves to be pampered and enjoys being bathed and brushed. She is happy to wear T-shirts and jumpers and, of course, looks adorable. But Suki is sure more than just good looks, she is a very intelligent pup that is learning to use buttons to communicate with her owner, and she loves puzzle toys that test her mind. She can also jump very high and loves to jump onto high surfaces when asked. With her intelligence, love of running, and physical ability, she may excel at dog agility.
Suki gets along well with children as well as other dogs, so she'd be an ideal addition to a home with young kids or another friendly pup. While she may be a bit shy when meeting new people initially, she is friendly and warms quickly. Suki travels well in the car and loves weekend outings or visiting family and friends. She is learning to walk by her owner's side and currently does pull on the leash when she is excited.

Suki does best on a grain-free diet. She can eat different types of treats, but too much can upset her stomach.
Suki benefits from having her ears cleaned with ear cleaner every so often when she has a bath. This prevents her from getting yeast infections in her ears.
Suki loves her current doggy housemate, but some of his quirks stress her out, and she licks her paws frequently as a result. She happily takes medication daily to reduce her stress. This medication is helping in her current home, and once she is settled in her new home, she will likely be able to stop this medication.

It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
