About Cliff
Cliff is a 3 month old Tabby kitten who was rescued along with his two sisters when he was only 4 weeks old.
His beautiful coat has grey, brown and black markings, plus he has a white stripe down the front of his face, a pink nose, and an identifying black beauty spot. He also has white fur around his mouth and chin traveling down his chest and front feet, as well as a light white streak on his back and another around the back of his head.
Cliff is a very gentle and curious kitten who loves to explore new things and surroundings. He is playful and loves chasing after his sisters as well as playing with ping pong balls.
Though initially shy when first rescued, Cliff has grown into a confident kitten over time and now loves getting attention from humans, including pats and cuddles from the children in the foster home.
He enjoys sleeping in cardboard boxes or on the lounge, but can often be found exploring open cupboards and bags! Cliff is litter trained and loves food – but hates loud unexpected noises!
Overall, Cliff would be best suited to a family home that is ready to give him lots of love, playtime, cuddles, patience while he adjusts to his new environment - plus regular meals on time!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
