About Leonardo
*In foster care in Manly, Sydney*
Sweet, gentle and full of love, Leonardo (or Leo for short) is the Persian kitty gentleman of your dreams! He adores snuggling and cuddling in bed or on your lap, and is very good-natured and even-tempered. He's the perfect comfort cat!
Leo came into Maggie's care after being surrendered, and has since made huge strides from his initial anxious state - quickly warming up and bouncing back to his gorgeous true self! When he's not keeping you company on the couch or posing in his dapper llama bandanna, he has the impressive ability of sleeping five hours straight, oblivious to the world, curled up in his foster carers' doona :)
Leo has also recovered from leg surgery in foster care, and is now healthy and happy and well up for afternoon zoomies! He adores a loving brush of his beautiful long, chocolate-coloured fur, purring throughout (which makes this essential daily task very easy!).

Like all Maggie's pets, Leonardo is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I love being around my humans, whether having a snuggle together or watching from the cat bed, so I'll suit an indoor-only home with plenty of company on tap! I also welcome visitors like they're old friends when they come to visit :)
I will need someone who's vigilant about keeping my coat healthy and mat-free, which means daily brushing, which I love - so it's win-win!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm pretty mellow in general, but I do like to play with my toys and typically have a few zoomies in the afternoon!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Being so gentle and sweet, I'm likely to enjoy family life!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Unknown at this stage, as I haven't met any other pets since coming into foster care.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
