About Rufus
Rufus is a whole lot of personality fitted into such a tiny stature.
Thriving in foster care, this handsome boy has shown to be attentive to his foster carers and adoring of the other dogs within his foster home.
His new home will have a good exercise routine of at least 1 walk a day however he is showing to also enjoy a game of fetch and chase as well.
Rufus can be confident in nature and could easily share his home with another dog or two. Being gentle in nature with people he would accept dog savvy kids or dog confident cats within the realms as well.
Rufus' new home will allow him inside especially at night throughout his puppy hood and whole life. Secure and safe fencing will be essential for this boy especially ones free from any holes or gaps underneath.
He wouldn't do too well as an only dog with someone who works full time and leaves him at home so he's best suited to a home with someone home a little more often than not or with the company of other dogs for companionship and play.
Rufus is located in the lower hunter valley and ready to start meeting his new journey.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
