About Peppi
Hi I’m Peppi and I’m a very sensitive soul. I’m not a huge fan of strangers or boisterous dogs approaching me in the street but if you give me time I will warm up to you and I’m very trusting once I get to know you.
Im lookng for a home with no children under 12 .
I’m good with cats and small quiet dogs. I love food so I’m very easy to train but I also need to watch my waist line.
I always let my humans know when someone knocks on the door but otherwise I’m a quiet boy and don’t mind being left at home alone. When you are home, if given the choice I would like to be near you however if you’re busy I can happily sleep in my bed until you’re ready to go for a walk to the park.
I love walks to the park and running around in the grass but am not such a fan of any kind of long distance walking.
I am also very playful and like to have some soft toys to chase around while I wait to be fed my breakfast.
I’m living in an apartment at the moment and haven’t quite got the hang of the toilet training business, but foster mum is very impressed with how much I’ve improved and I am very good at using wee mats.
Medical notes
5 year old Peppi is desexed and microchipped. He is up to date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Peppi recently had a dental and had 4 teeth extracted, as well as a scale and polish.
Peppi has mild patella luxation in both hind legs, but this doesn’t affect him right now, however he may require surgery in the future. He was obese when he arrived into care, and he is still continuing to lose weight which will have a positive impact on his legs. We also recommend starting Peppi on joint support supplements.
