About Banjo
Banjo is a cuddly and loving companion. He thrives on affection and enjoys being your best friend. His intelligence shines through as he communicates with his expressive eyes and playful smile. Banjo is an energetic fellow who loves to play and explore, but he also has a lazy side and can be quite content lounging around with you.
Banjo has already learned several basic commands, including sit, shake, stay, come, lay down, roll over, and stay close. He even lets you know when he needs to go outside for a bathroom break. He is amazing being showered, and is happy to jump into the shower and have a wash! However, he is still working on controlling his excitement and not jumping all over you when you come home, so further training in this area would be beneficial.
While Banjo gets very excited around other animals and wants to play, he will need guidance to learn appropriate behaviour. Although he may initially be timid with unknown people, he has never shown aggression. With time and proper socialization, Banjo will become more comfortable and confident.
This charming pup is great with children, making him an ideal addition to a family with kids. Ideally, Banjo's home should have a couple or someone who can be home most of the time.
Banjo requires committed humans who will help him burn off his energy and keep him mentally stimulated. As a young and curious pup, he benefits from a high fence and a dig-proof backyard. He is in foster in an apartment and is happy lounging around as long as he gets his walks and playtime.
Banjo has endless love to give is a quick learner and can be motivated by both treats and affection.
With a little love, patience, and ongoing training, he will flourish and become an incredible furry family member.
