Luey

Today it was my pleasure to meet Luey. Himself and his brother and sister went on their first big outing to the beach. Luey is definitely a water baby, very confident in the water. He hasn't been walked on the lead yet, as he has just finished all of his vaccinations. His foster parents think that Luey will pick this up with ease.
He is very playful, is happy to sleep and stay outside. Luey is well behaved at feeding time, he gets along with his foster human sister, and the other dogs and cats in the house. A very friendly happy dog that would fit into anyone's home.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
