About Huey
Huey is the the only girl in her litter of three. She might be the smallest of her siblings, but she has the biggest attitude.
She spends her days playing with her siblings. If someone picks up a toy, it becomes everyone's toy as the siblings like to play with whatever the others have. She is the first of the siblings to start going for her brothers' bodies instead of the toy.
She is the first one to come up to her foster dad while he's getting ready for work. She enjoys cuddles and likes to lick people's faces. She is the most playful in the litter, and energetic.
They haven't been digging in the yard, although they have started discovering the use of their teeth. Huey and her siblings are starting to nip and chew the way puppies do, and not in aggression. She sleeps through the night, and already know how to use pee pads.
No sign of food aggression has been observed. Huey eats quickly, and after finished her own food, immediately inspects her brothers' bowls for food she can steal.
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
