About Mikey & Eva
Meet the sweet and lovable Duo little Mikey and Eva
The are brother and sister and extremely bonded so CANNOT be separated for any reason
The gorgeous tiny little pair are both around 6 kilos and small bundles of fluffy cuteness
At just 1.9 years they sadly have had a terrible life prior to coming into rescue some 4 months ago but have come a very long way with kindness, love and a calm gentle home while in foster care. These babies had definitely been traumatized in a way i cant start to even want to imagine
When these gorgeous kids arrived we were unable to get anywhere near them.
They would just hide and not allow us to touch them
Over the months they have slowly come around and now Mkey will run over to you for a belly rub and pat wagging his little fluffy tail in delight
Eva is still a little more cautious and will run over and put her little paws on your leg but if you bend down to touch her she will run. When sitting on the outdoor couch Eva will come and jump up next to you for a pat and cuddle once she knows you wont hurt her.
These little ones will take a lot of time to be completely comfortable wit their r new family and we are ONLY seeking a kind quiet and loving home that will continue their journey of rehabilitation to trust humans
We really are seeking a home that can love these 2 little ones and be kind and very patient as their journey continues
They are such a sweet little pair and deserve only the best as they deserve it and do have so much potential in the right hands
As we said they are very much a bonded pair and do spend hours playing together and loving each others company
WE CANNOT and WILL NOT separate them

Favorite things
Mikey and Eva love playing together, they will run around the backyard chasing after each other until they are exhausted.
They love their food and get very excited when it's dinner time, they jump up and down with their tails wagging in anticipation.
Interaction with Humans
Mikey is a little hesitant approaching people but warms up pretty quick with a calm slow approach and then will jump up on the chair beside you and roll over for a belly rub and kisses. Eva has suffered from human mistreatment and doesn't have much trust at all though she has shown signs of improvement during her time with her foster carers, when she is sitting on her couch she feels more comfortable and allows you to approach and will then let you rub her belly, the more you do this the more comfortable she feels and she will even give you kisses of approval.
Both dogs are terrified of extremely fast movement of the hand so we are seeking a home without young children
Neither of the kids have been out for a walk yet on a lead and they are terrified of the lead and will freeze and not move once it is on
This is going to be a slow burn with loads of patience and dedication from their new family to gain the confidence needed
Animal Social Skills
Mikey and Eva are extremely intimidated by other dogs so we will not be adopted them to a home with another dog
We do know they dont like cats so a cat free home is required
Bathing and Hygiene
Both kids can be bathed and although they don't love it they will allow a gentle wash in the sink
They get towel dried and the drier would be way to much at this stage
Food
They both eat Wet food (prime 100) and premium dry
Independence
Mikey and Eva are very independent and will happily play outside all day with each other. They don't bark at noises or other dogs barking, they just like keep to themselves and entertain each other while their family are at work
Sleeping
Mikey and Eva both sleep outside under the pergola in a kennel with their fluffy blanket.
Exercise
Mikey and Eva have a med size yard to play in. This is ample for them to do zoomies and have fun.
Inside the home
During the time with their foster carers they have not entered the house except for the one time eva was away for a couple of days mikey did sleep on the carers bed but when she came back he preferred to sleep outside with her. They are both nervous about entering the home and we have not yet convinced them both to stay inside and be comfortable
Ideal Home
A home that will NEVER separate them
A home that has a nice big sheltered area outside for them as they will take a lot of time to come into the home and need shelter from the weather and a nice warm area to sleep
A home with a big enough secure yard for them to run and play on grass and do their zoomies
A home that have the time and commitment and will not have higher than reasonable expectations while they learn to trust and be comfortable in their new surroundings
No other pets
No children under 12
A home that are willing to ensure these kids are loved and safe for life
