Nero

This is Nero, his best quality is his love for affection and his full buddy cuddles. He dreams of spending his golden years snuggled up next to a fire or basking in the warm sun. He's a low-maintenance dog who simply wants to be close to his human.

It's adorable when Nero tries to take himself for a walk by holding the lead in his mouth. He also enjoys grabbing his ball with his paws and creating shapes in the sand or dirt. And a trip to the local river or ocean for a swim will make him the happiest dog on the planet.

Nero can be described as a cuddle bug, eager to please, and a couch potato. He also has playful and adventurous moments. He tends to be more introverted and appreciates a calm and supportive environment, especially when the broom or vacuum cleaner comes out or during sudden loud noises and storms. Nero likes to be involved in your activities and follows you around the garden. He'll let you know when it's time for his afternoon walk and dinner.

Nero may nuzzle his head under your arm for love or sit under the table during meals, hoping for some attention. When you come home, he eagerly runs to the car to greet you. Nero is empathetic and provides comfort when he senses his humans are sad.

Nero would thrive in a calm and easygoing household with outdoor access in a quiet town, semi-rural, or rural setting. He needs an experienced owner who can help him build confidence and live his best life. Nero can potentially coexist with another calm and happy-go-lucky dog. He prefers a home without children as he finds their behaviour confusing.

While he no longer enjoys going to the park, he is friendly with other dogs, including puppies. Nero would benefit from continuing his training to become less reactive on the street. This said, two short 15-minute walks a day and access to a yard are sufficient for his exercise needs.
